Exploring My Creative Side

Saturday after our usual trip to the Hypermart, Joyce dropped Justine and me off at Charis's house to do some painting. Another lady was there who did oils and acrylics; Charis and Justine did watercolors. Since I am not an artist in the least, they explained the different types to me, and then I looked through some books to figure out what I wanted to try. I chose a banana from the watercolor book. Charis coached me through it, and about an hour later I had a decent-looking banana! I'm quite proud because I am NOT artistically talented. It was fun to try something new. Before Charis dropped us off, we stopped at the "Michael's" of Sentani - a store with fabric, buttons, zippers, yarn, etc., and helped Charis pick out some material for some new shirts.
